HydrateMe — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 July 2026 · HydrateMe is published by BeexPro Consulting Ltd (“we”, “us”).

HydrateMe is designed to be private by default. This policy explains what happens to your information.

Data stays on your device

Your profile (sex, age, height, weight, activity), your drink logs, container presets, reminders, and settings are stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, synced privately to your own Apple iCloud account via Apple’s CloudKit. We do not run a server for your data and we cannot see, access, or collect it. There is no account to create.

Apple Health

If you allow it, HydrateMe reads and writes water intake (dietaryWater) in Apple Health, and can read recent sleep to suggest reminder hours. This data stays on your device under your control, is never used for advertising, and you can revoke access anytime in the Health app or iOS Settings. HydrateMe works fully without Health access.

Location & weather

If you turn on the automatic hot-weather boost, HydrateMe uses your approximate location to fetch the local temperature via Apple’s WeatherKit, so it can add extra water to your goal on hot days. Your location is used only for that check — we do not store it, share it, or use it for advertising.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of HydrateMe shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect device information and advertising identifiers, including the IDFA if you permit tracking via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can decline tracking, and you can manage your ad-consent choices when prompted. Your health and location data are never used for advertising. A one-time in-app purchase removes all ads. See Google’s policies: How Google uses information and AdMob & privacy.

Purchases

The one-time “Remove Ads” purchase is handled entirely by Apple via the App Store. We never receive your payment details.

Analytics

We do not embed our own analytics or trackers. Apple provides us with aggregate, non-identifying App Store statistics.

Children

HydrateMe is rated 4+ but is a general-audience wellness utility and is not directed at children.

Not medical advice

HydrateMe offers general wellness guidance, not medical advice. Consult your doctor about fluid intake if you have kidney, heart, or other conditions.

Your choices

You control Health, Location, Notifications, and Tracking permissions in iOS Settings. Deleting the app removes its on-device data; iCloud copies can be removed from your Apple account.
